Along side ‘conventional cancer treatments‘, people, ‘who are choosing‘ to take more control over their health outcomes, are beginning to discover the vast array of more traditional therapies and techniques, referred to as Continue reading “‘NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE’ – TAPPING INTO OUR INNATE HEALING ABILITY!!”
Dr Richard Béliveau, prominent researcher and author, whose interests are cancer prevention and treatment, has shown that certain foods ‘inhibit cell growth in certain cancers‘. Researchers were able to test crude extracts from different foods, creating a classification Continue reading “‘ANTI-CANCER COMPOUNDS’ – HARNESSING THE POWER WITHIN!!”
“Your body is a powerful intuitive communicator”
It is now known that ‘Intuition‘ has a very real biochemical basis, and the science of “just knowing” is gaining academic respect and mainstream popularity. Renowned researcher Gary Klein reveals that, in fact, Continue reading “DECIDING WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU – HONING YOUR ‘INNER GUIDANCE SYSTEM’!!”
Some doctors theorize that ‘candida’ or other systemic fungal infections cause, or at the very least, contribute to the development of cancer, and some are certain of it! When you examine the link between fungus and cancer further, it seems to makes sense, as fungus is abundantly found in our food, in the air we breathe and in our environment, so all we now need is a weakened immune system, opening the door for a body wide candida infection to take hold.
It was Dr. Tullio Simoncini, a doctor from Rome, who first recognized this connection whilst observing cancer patients for over 20 years, theorizes that ‘the hidden cause of cancer is candida.’ Dr. Simoncini believes that by ‘rapidly shifting’ the pH of the cells to a very alkaline state, this kills the fungi (as well as other harmful bacteria and viruses), making it impossible for the fungus to adapt, rendering it defenseless. Fungi, he writes, is:
“The most adaptable, aggressive and evolved micro-organism known in nature”
Also advocating the fungus – cancer connection, Author of many health books, Doug Kaufmann highlights that antibiotics (which literally means ‘anti-life’), upsets the balance of so called ‘good’ and ‘bad’ bacteria. This type of imbalance plays an even greater role in the activation of candida albicans, with the body being most vulnerable when these favorable conditions exist. Antibiotics destroy the normal, protective gut bacteria, allowing intestinal yeast and fungi to grow unchecked, resulting in ‘Candida Overgrowth.’ This can lead to immunosuppression, symptoms of autoimmune diseases, or even cancer. Candida albicans thrive on sugar, which is used in all fermentation processes, lending additional support to the notion that excessive sugar intake may very well be a primary driver of the cancer epidemic.
‘Mold and fungi can grow very quickly, taking over weak organisms’
There are two types of fungi, health-promoting mushrooms like ‘Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) and Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) belonging to the ‘Fungi perfecti phyla’, whereas molds and yeasts belong to ‘Fungi imperfecti phyla’, making them very different organisms with very different properties and functions. “As the biological environment becomes overly-acidified, it sets the scene for the primitive stage of fungi to begin to form. This set of circumstances allows for these forms of yeast, fungus, and mold to evolve, spread and form colonies, leaving an opportunity for disease to manifest, proliferate and finally take over.” The ultimate challenge is to identify these unfavorable conditions and bring them back into balance.
Dr. Paul Stamets, who has dedicated his life work to studying fungi believes that this abundant species could ‘save the world’ because of its many unique properties. Fungi is neither animal or plant, interestingly enough fungi is its own entity. Every living organism is decomposed by this amazing natural process and once the process has been completed, the network branch also dies. Dr. Simoncini has observed that tumors have a similar structure to a mycelium network, if we look at the intricate network of underground branches feeding the core, not unlike the cancerous tumor developing blood vessels to provide.
Mushrooms have long been known for their medicinal properties over the centuries, in many different cultures and far away lands. It is widely known that this unique group of ‘beneficial mushrooms’ help support healthy immune function by providing an array of health-promoting cellular nutrients. Interestingly enough, research has shown a stronger ‘Natural Killer’ cell response by blending multiple mushroom species, which have been shown to have greater efficacy over any singular mushroom.
This fact alone is fascinating, as this combined approach also rings true for ‘Cancer-fighting chemotherapy regimes,’ due to cancer being so readily able to adapt to ever-changing environments, with a multi-pronged assault similarly needed to ‘outsmart’ cancer cells ‘highly effective’ survival mechanism.
